Bank account opening using gov.br and CPF/CIN

The gov.br platform integrates with accredited banks to authenticate users for banking services. Partner banks allow customers to use their banking credentials to log in to gov.br. Customers initiate the process through the bank's app or website, authenticate it using gov.br, and then consent to share verified data with banks. By 2024, 14 of the largest banks in Brazil had integrated gov.br login for customer onboarding.
