e-Prescriptions using e-ID (Mobile-ID/Smart-ID)

e-Prescription is a nationwide digital prescription system that allows doctors to issue, write, and sign prescriptions electronically with their e-ID. It also enables pharmacies to dispense medicines through the patient’s digital ID. The system stores the prescription in the national e-Health database and links it to the patient’s personal ID number. A resident can collect medicine by showing their e-ID at the pharmacy. The pharmacist accesses the prescription from the central system through the resident’s ID number and dispenses the medicine.
