Access to health records using e-ID (Mobile-ID/Smart-ID)

In Estonia, residents can securely access and manage their personal health records with the national e-ID (Mobile-ID, or Smart-ID), through the Estonian Health Information System (EHIS). Residents authenticate themselves through a verification code and personal identification number (PIN1). On successful authentication, residents can view their electronic health records, check past consultations, view prescribed medicines, and access vaccination histories.
