Access to youth entrepreneurship support using the national digital ID
Young entrepreneurs in Eastern Africa face barriers to finance, mentorship, and business networks. The absence of formal identification prevents them from opening bank accounts and securing loans.
This use case proposes a digital platform that uses a national digital ID to bridge these gaps. Entrepreneurs create their profile on the platform. These profiles show their skills, business ideas, and financial history. This helps them access microloans, crowdfunding, and grants, as this platform showcases their financial performance.
The platform will also offer online courses, mentorship, and networking opportunities, thereby facilitating skill development and business growth.
