Access to an education and career platform by students using a national digital ID
Students in the Democratic Republic of the Congo make education and career choices without reliable guidance or verified information. Training institutions also struggle to track student progress because student records remain fragmented. This problem weakens links between education, skills, and jobs. The use case proposes a digital platform linked to the national digital ID system. The platform creates a verified learner identity for each student. Students can access information on schools, vocational training, scholarships, careers, and skills pathways through mobile or web channels. This platform also stores verified academic records, certifications, and career interests in one secure profile. Accredited teachers and institutions publish verified courses through institutional digital identities. Students can access premium content through mobile money linked to their digital ID. The platform supports local languages, offers offline access, and secure authentication for low-connectivity areas in the country.
