Access to income support by low-wage workers by using Singpass

Launched in 2007, the Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) program provides cash payments and Central Provident Fund (CPF) top-ups to boost the income and retirement savings of lower-wage workers. Beneficiaries can authenticate with Singpass to access WIS e-services, such as to check eligibility, view payment amounts, and update bank account details for disbursement. Singpass is also used to log in for special payouts, such as the Workfare Special Payment (WSP).
