Access to cash benefits by low-income seniors using Singpass

Singpass serves as the authentication method to check the eligibility for, or update the details under, the Silver Support Scheme. Administered by the Ministry of Manpower, the scheme provides quarterly cash support to low-income seniors. Eligibility assessment and payment disbursement are automated through the Central Provident Fund (CPF) digital services. As of 2025, nearly 290,000 Singapore Citizens aged 65 years and above currently benefit from this scheme.
