Access to the conditional cash transfer using PhilSys

In the Philippines, the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) number and the electronic Philippine Identification (e-PhilID) card are used to verify the identity of beneficiaries. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), under the national poverty reduction strategy and the conditional cash transfer (CCT) program, provides CCTs to poor households. Beneficiaries are authenticated using fingerprints and facial recognition during family development sessions (FDS).
