Accessing national health insurance via NIK

In Indonesia, residents use their Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) as the primary identifier to access the national health insurance program, Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). NIK is used to confirm identity and eligibility to enroll and access services through the JKN app or at health facilities. Residents authenticate themselves through the JKN app, and upon successful authentication, they can access health insurance services, check membership status, and avail themselves of benefits.
